versus Castlerigg Stone Circle, Keswick, Cumbria, UK

The video and photo above were taken in January 2000 at the Castlerigg Stone Circle in Keswick, Cumbria, United Kingdom. On the left is a silent, 5.4 second MPEG-4 zoom-out that reverses to zoom-in, in a perpetual cycle known as a palindrome. To the right is a high quality JPEG 3½ times the area of the video. Despite its 135 frames, the video's filesize is actually smaller.

Recent advances in compressing video without sacrificing quality and the growing adoption of high-speed internet usage combine to make moving pictures a compelling and cost-effective feature for today's most distinctive web sites. TransVision is a local leader in the turnkey production, compression, conversion and delivery of television-quality video shorts over the internet.
